with Maya
Designing with Maya allowed me to create compelling images of never before seen environments. One inspired by a popular figure of speech and the other dedicated to a favorite food of mine.
"There is no use crying over spilt milk"
Pictured above is a dramatic funeral scene. At first glance, it may seem somber, but upon closer inspection, it is a ceremony for nothing more than some ordinary milk. It's ridiculous yet charming, carrying the message that we should never sweat the small stuff.
Ramen Hot Springs
This attraction combines two elements that are ever increasing in popularity among the western world, ramen and hot springs, creating a novel destination. This design boasts bowl shaped hot tubs atop bento box style platforms. Each complete with noodle ladders and fishcake floaties. The lowest level has the coolest temperatures while the highest is the hottest, signified by the presence of iconic hot sauce bottles. Guests can travel between these platforms by climbing pairs of chopsticks. Soup spoon lounge chairs are the cherry on top in this larger-than-life ramen themed experience.
